Shailene was angry. Angry at her mother for not helping her with her situation and then sending her to see her cousin, the headmistress. Of course, she was very fond of her cousin, but she really wasn't in the mood to be anywhere....
Sighing, she knocked on the door softly. Unlike her mother's office, she couldn't just "walk" right in. She waited patiently for a response from inside the office.

Windi sat at her desk working on some paperwork so she could get the new term started, when she heard a knock at her door. She wondered who it could be. The school had very few students in it and she knew that her fiance was out of town for the week. She set her quill and paper down and waved her wand at the door, and saw that it was young Miss Meadows.
"Please come in Shai. What can I help you with today?"

Shailene walked in slowly, closing the door behind her and smiling weakly. She wandered over to the headmistress' desk and stood at the side opposite of her before sighing.
"Well, you see, Mother sent me to see you...she says that there is nothing wrong with one of my classes, but I swear there is. She says I'm skipping classes, which in a way, I suppose I am...but there is seriously something wrong with this particular class!" She was beginning to get worked up over nothing, something her mother always warned her not to do.

She could tell that Shai was upset about something. she listened to the young girl explain why she was there. When she mentioned there was a problem with a class she became curious.
"Shai please sit down and explain to me what the problem is and why you think there is a problem with one of your classes."

Shailene was upset with the situation, but did as instructed without a complaint. Sitting down, she looked around the room before focusing back in on the conversation.
"Well, as I'm sure you know, I'm a very good student. But there's this one class that I don't do well in. Surely, there's a problem with it."
